Helen Brinton’s Birthday Tea Party Member Meet-Up

September 27th, 2pm-3:30pm

Event Description:

Rewind back in time to celebrate Helen Brinton’s birthday in true early 20th-century fashion with afternoon tea, music, and a discussion with long-standing volunteer Doug Moomey about Helen Brinton and her lasting legacy. As part of our year-long focus honoring Women of the West, this intimate gathering will pay tribute to Helen Brinton’s legacy and lasting contributions to the museum and the region.

This member exclusive event will transport you back in time for a tea party similar to those that Helen hosted herself. Relax on the front patio with a cup of tea and light refreshments, witness old photos of the Brinton family and their hosted parties, play a game of croquet on the front lawn, and enjoy the grand piano playing the Brinton family’s own collection of vintage music. This is a time-traveling event you will not want to miss!

When: Saturday, September 27th from 2pm-3:30pm
Where: Ranch House
Attire: We encourage guests to dress in dressy casual attire to immerse themselves in the early 20th-century theme.
